Hi Dr. Fink.

Thanks for catching this AIX bug and the proposed fix.

Unfortunately, your patch leaves us with the residue of a 20+ year old 
bug that a recent commit (shown below) was intended to fix:

     ps: swat insidious bug with the %cpu' format specifier

So I've taken the liberty of preparing an alternate patch which 
incorporates your changes plus restores the intent of my original change.

I'll  be sending it to Craig via freelists probably this afternoon.
