Hello, as you know, I'm a newbie here and it's the first time I get my tftp server running. I have configured pxes (X-Desktop) with pxesconfig, and transferred all the files from /tftpboot/pxes to my tftp server. When starting the client, I get the pxes start picture and a boot prompt. After pressing enter there are some normal boot messages, but the I receive 'etc/init.d/rcS cannot create /var/log/bootmsg: directory nonexistant' afterwards I get hundreds of messages 'Bummer, could not run /bin/startx no such file or directory' How can I figure out where is the problem? Any help is welcome. Henning ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by: ApacheCon 2003, 16-19 November in Las Vegas.
