Strange problems... users booted.

Hello.

I am experiencing very strange problems here...

I am using pxesboot for about 20 different clients.  I have it set up for 
remote X sessions.

I have two users right now who, when they try to log in, cause their instance 
of X to restart.

I am using KDM instead of XDM, and it has worked great up until very recently.  
when these users boot up, they come up just fine, and have KDM waiting for 
them to log in.  As soon as they put in their user name and password and hit 
enter, X crashes and restarts.

The errors it kicks out look like this:
Client 2 rejected from IP X.X.X.X port YYYY
Client 2 rejected from IP X.X.X.X port YYYY
Client 2 rejected from IP X.X.X.X port YYYY
Client 2 rejected from IP X.X.X.X port YYYY
Client 2 rejected from IP X.X.X.X port YYYY
Client 2 rejected from IP X.X.X.X port YYYY
Client 2 rejected from IP X.X.X.X port YYYY
Client 2 rejected from IP X.X.X.X port YYYY


the "YYYY" here changes for every line... looks like it is cycling through 
ports indefinitely.

Let me stress that this problem is happening for these two USERS  *NOT* their 
machines.  It rejects them no matter what machine I try to log them in on.  
So it is not an xhost issue.

I have tried removing everything from their home directory, I have removed 
anything owned by them in /tmp.  I have tried recreating their users, 
changing the password -- nothing helps.

This is the second time this has happened to me... I never found out what is 
going on here, but I got around it by changing the user's uid and gid.  I 
cannot keep doing this though, as I am afraid that some time in the future 
someone might use these uids and screw something up.

Can someone please tell me what is going on here?
