RE: PXES with fixed IP

Could you not set up a separate scope, one scope (existing) for your
'internet-enabled' computers and another for PXES?  You can then set the
reservations in the second scope to allocate static ip addresses to your
machines.  This based upon the mac address of the client machine.

Alternatively if your machines all share the same sub-net and you cannot set
up a second scope then if you assign that reservations in the existing
scope, those machines with a reservation will be forced to take one of the
non internet enabled ip addresses whilst those that don't have a reservation
will not be able to take on of the statically defined addresses.

DHCP is no problem to me. But we use our DHCP server for other purposes.
(Mobile workers with internet access). So the problem is that when I use
DHCP for the Thin Clients, they'll be consuming an 'internet-enabeled' IP.
Because we have serveral plants with in every site such a DHCP server, I
don't see any solution to fix it with DHCP. :o(

The IP addresses for the clients are set using DH

assume you will be using a MS DHCP server, which means I cant really give
you an example config, but there should be enough info in the help for DHCP
