I infer that you are using MS DHCP. In the DHCP configuration set Reservations for any machine that should have a fixed address. I'm looking for a solution to convert our PII and Celerons into thin clients to connect to our MS Terminal Servers. PXES seems to do the job quite easy and fast. Now we're using W98 with Microsoft Terminal Services Client. But due the patch-updates, abuse use of the system, I want to convert them to PXES clients. The HOWTO's on the site are clear to me, but how can I use a fixed IP for my clients. Do I have to modify a ini-file or so ? Could somebody help me? I've little experience with Linux (bash).
