Hi List: Well I am new and hope that all will take that into consideration :) Anyway I downloaded and installed the following rpms on a RedHat 9.0 system: pxes-base-i586-0.7-1.i386 pxesconfig-0.7-1.noarch tftp-server-0.32-4.i386 <=== found it using rpmfind All installed well, I ran pxesconfig and selected a minimal system, no sound etc. I have an old box with an Intel Pro NIC and am trying to boot it up. The file in the DHCP conf that I have specified is "prelinux.0" but as I have no understanding of what is happening fault finding is rarther hard. Ethereal shows me that:- Client: Read Request, File:/tftpboot/pxes/prelinux.0, transfer type octet Server: Error Code, Code: File not found, Message: File not found As the file "/tftpboot/pxes/prelinux.0" exists I am at a loss. Any help would be appreciated. Regards Wayne ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials.
