Newbie is trying to find local devices on diskless machine

All,

I have recently used the PXES toolset (installed on a debian system) to
create the necessary images etc, to enable diskless access to a Windows
server 2003 using the rdesktop client. It all worked out rather well so
far... The current problem that I cannot work around is the fact that I
cannot seem to figure out how to get access to the local floppy, CD-
ROM, printer port and sound on the diskless machines.

I am using PXES 0.7-1 for the configuration utility, where I cheked all
the correct boxes including the "share local devices using Samba." When
I login into the Windows server 2003 from the diskless machine and
check the network neighborhood, I can see the icon for the thin client
machine on the local MS network. However when I attempt to open the
machine to see (the presummably shared) local printer or
drives...nothing happens. Instead I get a "login" dialog window for the
thin client.?! The smb.conf on the thin client shows that the drives
are public and read only..

Any suggestions would be much appreciated,

Theo
