A network problem ?
Image corruption during the transfer.
How many DHCP servers are in your network ?

Hello,
I've a strange problem with a thin client, in fact after it uncomresses the
initrd I get that message: (haven't seen the message myself, the user told
me)
unable to run /etc/init.d/rc.S
Press enter to activate console
After pressing enter the next message is that /proc does not exist.
Well it seems it is just incompletely booted, and doing a hardware reset
is the only way out.
Now the strange thing:
After 3 reset it booted correctly, no more error messages and ran happily.
Yesterday I had the same problems and it took 4 reset to get it booted.
it ran the whole day without problems then.
(I remember having had similar problems with the 0.5 version I tested some
time ago, the difference was that it blocked earlier, upon uncompressing
the initrd. Several resets also made it boot...)
What could be the problem here?
best regards,
Yves
