Launching a Script at runtime in X?

Hi,
	Been a while but Im happy to say I finally have WINE running on 
diskless clients yay!
Had to put in a ton of .so's but it works.... Anywayz now I have a 
simple question.
What do you guyz think is the best way to run my DOS program at boot? 
The
set up will eventually be a stack of machines with no monitors or 
keyboards,
so I need to launch the client app at boot. So I wrote a shell script 
that does this.
When I run it from within the local X windows session all is well and 
it works.
However when I stick it on the last line of rcS it dies because x11drv: 
Can't Open
the Display
Is there a way to set this up so the script will be run from within 
local X?
Like I know some Linux Systems there is a file that you can use to 
bring up
a xterm at boot and run commands..... anything similar in PXES?  If not
Im gunna try talking to the WINE people and see if there is a way to 
run it without
the X graphics..because my app is a DOS cmndline prog it really doesn't 
need x...
