Either its not a i810 chipset / audio device, or
its not supported by the i810 module in 2.4.20, or
it isn't turned on in the bios.

What is the motherboard exactly?

Subject: [pxes-devel] i810 audio /dev/sound/dsp missing

Hi!
It almost works...... but the local audio.
i get "/dev/sound/dsp missing" at boot and audio server can not be started.

I do not know what i am doing wrong here.
If i force(or from the console load) ac97_codec there are no messages.
loadin i810_audio.o fails with "no such device".

So "/dev/sound/dsp missing" shows even after successful loading of
ac97_codec.

Ideas?
TIA
