Full HOWTO

Hi all,

 

 

I'm totally new to Linux and PXES. 

I would like to setup a test environment with some W2K terminal servers and
some PII PXES clients.

The clients are all IBM machines with Intel NIC's. I've checked them and
hardware should be compliant.

Now here's my question:

 

I would setup a client as quick as possible without any LINUX-box so I
downloaded the prebuild ISO

 

The M$-only howto is not clear to me.

 

I've setup a TFTP server with DHCP but my client doesn't get any IP !

I see the requests, but what have I to configure more ?

What do I have to do with the image on CD ?

What is the file I have to point to for finding some boot-record ?

When I'm done with the test-environment, I would like to write a detailed
(with screenshots of TFTPD32,.) step-by-step HOW-TO for other users.

 

Any input is welcome !
