Cant succedd with XDM

Hi list, im new with PXES and im trying to start a xdm session, but all that i get when i click on the xdm icon is a window with a black screen. 
Ideas? 
Some information
Server os: Fedora Core 1.0
Client Nic: 3Com 3c905
another cuestion: where can i find pxes logs?
