Thank you for the update, I will try it out today dwc -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Eliassen Einar (ErgoGroup) Sent: Tuesday, June 29, 2004 8:18 AM To: [email protected] Subject: SV: [pxes-devel] Custom CD creation problem Trying this again...mail didnt go through the first time it seems.... Here's how to use ICA version 8: Edit the file /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.1/Pxesconfig/PxesconfigModel.pm Look for "USE CONSTANT ICA7FSSIZE" and "USE CONSTANT ICAVERSION7" Change the ICAVERSION7 line to: use constant ICAVERSION7 => 'Version 8.0.85930'; Change the ICAFSSIZE line to: use constant ICAFSSIZE => 1860; I think ICAFSSIZE is already set to this...so most likely you wont need to change it. Then you need to edit /usr/share/pxesconfig/ica/icaclient.files Add the following line to the bottom of that file: ${ICAROOT}/CHARICONV.DLL And here is the link to the RPM and SOURCE package of ICA Client 8.0 : http://www.citrix.com/site/SS/downloads/details.asp?dID=2755&downloadID=3323 #top I'm using ICA 8 now...and its running smooth. Regards, Einar Eliassen -----Opprinnelig melding----- Fra: Chan, Dominic [mailto:[email protected]] Sendt: 28. juni 2004 22:15 Til: [email protected] Emne: [pxes-devel] Custom CD creation problem I am trying to create an ICA only client with the latest PXES package (0.8). Technically, you only support version 6.30.1052 or 7.00.77757. If I would like to use other version of the ICA client, how can I go about doing this? The problem is that on citrix website, I only find 7.04 and 7.08 ICA client. Also, we would like to test out the latest version (ie. 8.0) also. I know the versions I am suggesting are not supported, but was just wondering if this is something that can be implemented for testing only dwc Both the individual sending this e-mail and The Lubrizol Corporation intend that this electronic message be used exclusively by the individual or entity to which it is intended to be addressed.
