I've seen this problem when the default video resolution was set too
high for the monitors...e.g. - trying 1024x768 on some 15" monitors will
not work. Have you tried just using 640x480?

Hi,

In my company we want to use pxes for booting to a microsoft terminal
server (now, it will be Citrix soon).
On most computers it works, but on a few it doesn't. The only relating
thing I can find is that they have the same network card. They all
have
a D-link DFE-530TX.
I use etherboot for booting, and have selected the via-rhine driver.
This boots, gets the image from the tftp server, but after booting
linux
and getting dhcp information I get:
ERROR: video couldn't be autodetected
My first guess was of course that it was video related, but since I am
seeing it on multiple pc's, with different videocards and/or monitors
and i am NOT seeing it on some other pc's with exactly the same
hardware
config except for the network card I suspect this causes the problem.
Is there anything I can do to figure out what exactly is causing this,
or does anybody have experienced the same problems?

Thanks for all the good work regarding pxes,

Sander Hoentjen
