Using NX with pxes 0.9 and non-nomachine key

We would like to deploy pxes 0.9 clients using a freenx server that uses
a non-nomachine key.

This key is stored in /usr/NX/share/client.id_dsa.key on the client.

We are using the iso file to boot diskless clients from cdrom.

I created the iso with pxeconfig and have tried to modify the
boot/isolinux/pxes.img file to add the key, but am unable to mount it
(don't know the filesystem type). I did notice a /tmp/pxes.initrd file
that I can modify, but it is not in the iso file.

Is modifying the pxes.img file the best way to create a iso file with
our site's client key? Or can I modify pxes.initrd and use it instead
of pxes.img in the iso file? If not, what is recommended?

My compliments on a great thin client distribution.
