Local Printing through citrix using pxes v 0.9

I am having a problem trying to get local printing to
work through Citrix using PXES v.9. I have tried to
go through the walk-through that is on the website the
LPRng-PXES-HOWTO. I am not using Red Hat v9, but
Fedora Core 2. When I try to uninstall cups as per
the walk-through I get a dependency error. I also
don't get the installed rpms as the walk-through
either. Since I can uninstall cups I can't in LPRng
because for some reason Cups doesn't agree with it. I
am fairly new to Linux and don't really know how to
manipulate it to do what I want namely get ride of
cups completely. I tried reinstalling Fedora without
including cups but it still installed cups and I can
get ride of it. Is there anyway to get cups
uninstalled or to get the installation of Fedora not
to include it so I can try and get the local printing
to work through Citrix?

Thank you for your time,
Steve
