My company uses PXES throughout our enterprise for temporary workers and scholarship students. It's allowed us to reuse equipment that would have otherwise been trashed. This has saved us from buying 20 computers thus far at $1000 a pop. As for our wishlist, we could really use IBM 5250 emulation either through tn5250 or IBM Client Access as the iSeries is core to our business and many people really just use their PC as a glorified green screen terminal. -- Benjamin Story, CCNA CCDA Client Server Technical Analyst Dot Foods, Inc www.dotfoods.com (217)773-4411 ________________________________ From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Diego Torres Milano Sent: Monday, December 06, 2004 3:18 PM To: PXES devel; PXES devel ES Subject: [pxes-devel] Upcoming PXES 1.0 WISHLIST PXES Universal Linux Thin Client Project: Wishlist Now you can be a PXES designer too Approaching 200,000 downloads (this just at SourceForge) and constantly increasing its installed base, PXES user needs are getting difficult to satisfy. I have been receiving disparate request for new features and inclusions. The problem is this demand is hard to satisfy so we are making a Christmas Wishlist. Take your pick. Choose whatever you think should be included. A poll will be conducted with the most relevant points from the processing of this wishlist components. How do I rank my wish ? Democracy The most voted features will be included in PXES 1.0. Donation Become the sponsor of your feature. By making donations through SourceForge <http://sourceforge.net/project/project_donations.php?group_id=45684> or Paypal <http://www.paypal.com/> (use the Paypal button in PXES home page) your feature increases the possibility of being included. Testimonial Give us a testimony of how PXES is helping your organization to save thousands. This will count as a donation. When does this expire ? Whislist is open until new year's eve 2004. -- Diego Torres Milano <[email protected]> PXES Universal Linux Thin Client
