PXES Wish List

I am a network administrator for a company that just started deploying
PXES to about 80 to 100 new temporary employees. We are currently
using Citrix, and things are working VERY well. With the WinAgents
multi threaded TFTP server the PXES client is booted up on a pentium
100 faster than you can believe. We would like to see something added
for support for VMWare GSX Server however. We have explored other
alternatives to moving towards this but it would be too much of an
overhaul to move away from PXES since we are already deploying it
widely. If we could have our clients boot directly into a GSX image,
they would be more productive and we would get fewer trouble tickets
reported. The people that we deploy PXES to are generally not
terribly intelegent. They are the first tier support for the tax
software that my company sells. They tend to get lost going through a
Knowledge Base article because they can't do EVERYTHING that the
customer can because of the limitations of being on Citrix. I think
PXES is a great product, and I can see it only getting better. We
experimented with other alternatives, but the pxesconfig utility is
just way to simple, but still effective. Having to go through config
file after config file is nearly impossible to get things right unless
you really spend a lot of time with the product. Keep up the good
work and please consider support for GSX sometime soon.

Thanks
