Hello! I'm very new to PXES, but I like it very much. I am wondering if there is a HOWTO or a configuration option I've missed that will allow me to run thin clients but have some apps run locally on the terminals (specifically kphone). As I understand, I can start with a Fedora core and copy all the necessary dynamic libraries that aren't in the pxes base filesystem, as well as kphone, and it should run. I can also configure it for sshd to be started. What about NFS-mounting /home, and using NIS client-tools on the stations so that each user can effectively, from the terminal server, run: ssh <terminal> /usr/local/bin/kphone -display localhost:0.0 Also what happens to the syslog? If anyone can please direct me to docs which discuss this, I would appreciate it. -Michael George ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IntelliVIEW -- Interactive Reporting Tool for open source databases.
