First, let me say thank you for opening my eyes to the world of Linux.
I had only used Linux once prior to last year and with the documentation
accompanying the project I have been able to reach a point where I have
created a PXES boot CD that automatically connects to my Windows
terminal server and logs in and I've configured the server to run IE in
kiosk mode and open to our nutrition information site for all non-admin
TS users, so I have been able to get pretty far on our project by
reading the docs and trial and error. But I'm afraid I'm stuck.
I'm using PXES 9 (kudos on the configuration utility - definitely makes
things easier for us Linux newbies) and compiling with Red Hat 9 and
I've got the ELO touchscreen Linux driver for our kiosks installed on
the Red Hat computer but I can't figure out how to get it into the Linux
kernel. I also have a NIC driver I'd like to get in there but that I can
overcome with a USB NIC if I can't. Does anyone have docs or links to
info on getting drivers into the Linux kernel? Or can the PXES kernel
be modular?
