I have been tasked with investigating the viability of open source to
convert a number of old win98-spec machines into thin-clients for use in a
local govt authority network which is using Citrix Metaframe XP FR3. The
main concern is security and transparency to the user.
I have the pxes-1.0-6 iso, and would like to customise it to contain *only*
the citrix ICA client, and to run ICA client on boot, with no boot options
whatsoever. How would I go about it?
I need to use 1.0-6 as AFAICS, it's the only one using a 2.6 kernel.
I also need to install the images onto the HD, and I cannot look at the DOM
/ HD installer, as this needs to be 100% open source in terms of the
thin-client's OS.
Any help appreciated.
Cheers,
Mark
