I forgot to mention that on this clients there's an old NT4 installation
on the disk. If I boot form the disk and use the MS Terminal Service
Client it works flawlessly.
If you confirm you are experiencing the same behaviour on Thinstation I
fear this is an issue related with rdesktop.

What I'd like to understand is if this is a solvable configuration issue
of rdesktop or a limit in the RDP implementation of rdesktop (beyond my
troubleshooting skills really, so just supposing).
