That's OK, but as I mentioned before, questions also help the
documentation, mainly PXES Wiki discussion pages.

You are totally right ! pxelinux.0 has been left out of
pxes-tftp-1.0-6.zip, as well as other files.
Just extract them from pxes-tftp-0.9-1.zip.

If you don't want a customized image you don't need a Linux box.
