Hi everybody on the list This is my first post here.. I'm rather newbie in pxes and in thinclient in general. I have some questions about it, I hope someone will help me. I made a squash image with pxesconfig, put it into tftp/dhcp server and boot from pxe, everything works fine. Now I'm using pxes to connect to XDM server. First, I think I found a little bug in dhcp.script INFO="/etc/dhcpc/dhcpcd-$interface.info" this file doesn't exists, i replaced with: INFO="/etc/dhcpc/dhcpcd-$interface" now dhcp client works well, it can be? Then.. I saw in pxesconfig I can change graphic image presented at boot time, but I don't know how to handle .lss file, do I need some particular program to generate such type of image? Last: On last window of pxesconfig I activated both "Enable session VNC shadowing", both "Enable SSH server", but I cannot neither vnc inside, once connected to XDM server, (with cd image downloaded from site I could!), neither connect trough ssh. (it ask for password but it hangs immediately). I found pxes very usefull and I hope I will solve these little problems. Thank's in advance who will help me, Pierluigi. -- Pierluigi Di Lorenzo ePrometeus s.r.l ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Discover Easy Linux Migration Strategies from IBM.
