Hi list!

I'm lucky in encountering problems. I have ViaC3 thin client with
C3M266-L chipset. The problem is that i cant get vertical refresh more
than 60Hz. All variables seem to be set correctly, this is from
http://192.168.0.138/cgi-bin/pxesvars.cgi:
(only relevant vars IMHO)
X_BPP='32'
X_BUSID='PCI:1:0:0'
X_BUSID_OPTION='BusID "PCI:1:0:0"'
X_COLOR_DEPTH='24'
X_DRIVER='vesa'
X_HORIZONTAL_SYNC='50-100'
X_HORIZONTAL_SYNC_DEFAULT='50-100'
X_HORIZONTAL_SYNC_OPTION='HorizSync 50-100'
X_MONITOR_AUTODETECT_ENABLED='0'
X_VERSION='4.3.0'
X_VERTICAL_REFRESH='75-85'
X_VERTICAL_REFRESH_DEFAULT='75-85'
X_VERTICAL_REFRESH_OPTION='VertRefresh 75-85'
X_VIDEO_MODES='"1024x768" "800x600"'

I tried with autodetect on|off, with 8bit color depth, tried to
specify just 75, tried different video modes, and the only thing IMHO
that may cause my grrrrrr 60Hzness is the driver. After some googling
i found that my video chipset is supported only on Xfree 4.3.9(or
something very close to 4.4.0). So, please, somebody proove me i'm
wrong! ;)
Else, i'll desperately need some advice what to do, how can i update
driver (or even X?). Problem that i don't quite understand pxes's
structure yet, so thinking of completely updating X really scares me.
I cant change hardware, and i definitely want to continue being
pxessed.

Any ideas?

regards,
if
