Hi All,

After much stuffing about and learning the difference between etherboot
and PXE, I successfully got PXES 0.9 to PXE boot, and its working
beautifully.

However, the reason I am using the 0.9 pre-built images, is because I
could not for the life of me get 1.06 to work. When trying to boot the
vmlinuz-2.4.20-12pxes.i586 kernel (md5:
29f7668f082c9f59c637f91d535488e1) from pxes-tftp-1.0-6.zip via pxelinux,
all I get is an "invalid or corrupt kernel image" message. The 2.4
kernel from pxes-tftp-0.9-1.zip boots fine.

Am I right? and that pre-built kernel is corrupt? or am I missing something?

Thanks in advanced.
