Firstly, kindest regards to you, Andres, and all of the friends at
igalia.
You should have no problems using ACPI in PXES with 2.6 kernel. And if
you test your hardware with ACPI enabled in 2.4 and it works you could
obtain the same results.

But I have one question. Why do you want that just after log out the
computer turns off ? Is this not an unexpected (and perhaps annoying)
behavior ?
