I think Chris Gianelloni is on to something. 32-bit setting means 24bit color + 8 bits for alpha channels.(for transparent overlays & such...) The application should work just fine at 24 bit. I am not sure a TNT2 can support 1280x1024 at 32bit color anyway. probably 1024x768 @ 32bit... Try a lower resolution (for testing) and see what kind of results you get. Alternatively, you will have to re-compile the nvidia drivers... and hope a newer version will support what you're looking for.
