Ok, Stephan, I think you understood Citrix can't manage 32bit color
displays, so you don't need to look for make PXES work on 32bit.

It's not useful, and will be never be used under Citrix.

By the other way, I want to remember the size of the images is not the
only point to look for... talking about network transport and server
requirements.

A compressed image file could be a big transport over the net, a big
(decompress image file, compress display to be sended over the net to
the workstation, calculate the needs of information to be sended to the
workstation if, for example, the user makes a move or a zoom...) work
for the server processor...

A normal radiology doctor could make fire in a powerful workstation. A
big farm of 4 citrix power servers could be absolutely satured with 4 or
6 docs making a hard work.

Profesional image work is better made with a high level workstation...
even if Citrix says it's not a problem... "demos" always work better
than reality.

And not, 200Mbit switch could be inmediately fired with 5, 6... or 10
docs looking, moving, resizing, zooming images and images. But for this
work you will need a farm with 4 multi-processor servers with lots of
memory.

By the other way, you will need to scale every point in your network to
be sure it will could support this work:

- Be sure the network card(s) in every server will never by freezed by
overworking.
- Be sure the switch/es could support (all over your network tree) this
transport witouth bottle-necks.
- Be sure your storage system is stable, powerful, bigger and quickly
enough for this jobs.
- Be sure you server's proccessors will support the full power needed by
the applications served.
- Think that -perhaps- you will send and receive more information using
this kind of applications between your server and your thinclients than
between your server and your network storage system, so under this
perspective, perhaps your csp's backbone power is not so neccessary as
your main network vias.
