I'm having the same problem with Optiplex GX1s with CS4236 soundcards, but I'm a little unclear on how where exactly to edit this file. I found the autodetect script (I think) in /opt/pxes-1.1/stock/dist/bin/autodetect and there is an autodetect_sound part, but I'm not sure where to add "cs4232" (also, should it be 4232 or 4236?). Can someone please help, perhaps post the relevant part of the autodetect script? I'd grealty appreciate it.
