Hi, Setup Env: -rtai4.0 (on x86) -Linux version 3.8.13 -[ 1371.585504] SYSINFO: CPUs 4, LINUX APIC IRQ 4352, TIM_FREQ 6234609, CLK_FREQ 2893274000, CPU_FREQ 2893274000 -[ 1371.586653] RTAI_APIC_TIMER_IPI: RTAI DEFINED 4354, VECTOR 4354; LINUX_APIC_TIMER_IPI: RTAI DEFINED 4352, VECTOR 4352 -CONFIG_RTAI_TSC is true Experiment : Default usermode latency test runs fine ($./run) However on setting 'TIMER_MODE' to 1 (in latency.c) get a hang. On further debugging and running only $./latency, I could see that hang is coming from :- rt_task_make_periodic(task, expected = rt_get_tscnt() + 10*period, period); On replacing rt_get_tscnt with rt_get_time in the above line, there is no hang. I could not explain this, as rt_get_tscnt does not lead to hang when 'TIMER_MODE' is 0.
