Hi Francescondario, thanks for looking in to this.

My virtualized environment is as follows:

Hypervisor: KVM running on a Debian Jessie (amd64) host.

Virtual Machine: Debian Jessie (amd64) with Linux 3.18 and RTAI 5-test2, 
installed from the debian packages at this apt source:

deb http://highlab.com/~seb/linuxcnc jessie main

I've also tried an i386 virtual machine (same hypervisor, same guest OS, 
kernel & rtai debs at the same apt source), and got the same results.
