Hi RTAI users, Does anyone experience some system freezes when insmoding RTAI modules using Ubuntu's default terminal console? I have been facing this issues with Ubuntu 14.04 and RTAI 4.1. This behaviour seems to be the same on different cpu modules... I have been using the tty1-6 terminal consoles to avoid such a system freeze (the problem only appears on the terminal that runs on tty7 with the desktop manager). Using the tty1-tty6 terminals to run RTAI tests is fully functional but recently I have found a better workaround: It is possible to use the "xterm" terminal that comes with Ubuntu, this can be launched from within the graphical session so no need to switch to the tty1-6 consoles. Hope this helps if someone was experiencing this kind of issues. Best regards, Asier. _______________________________________________ Rtai mailing list [email protected] https://mail.rtai.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/rtai
