System reboots with testsuite execution - rtai patch 4.1.18 (vulcano)

Dear team,

I have downloaded kernel source *linux-4.1.18 *and patched with rtai from
*vulcano* (http://cvs.gna.org/cvsweb/vulcano/?cvsroot=rtai). Then built new
kernel and built rtai test suite. (On Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (kernel version
4.4.0-21-generic) installed on my DELL laptop)

*My system reboots within seconds after running any of the tests in
testsuite.* I am executing the testsuite tests as mentioned in rtai-how to
guide in rtai.org.

Kindly guide, in case of any known issues or if I should debug to find out
what is causing the issue. (I am new to kernel module debugging, and
struggling on how to debug the testsuite examples, but request for inputs
in case there is really any issue in my setup or I can go ahead working on
my kernel modules)...
