Ciao,

For anybody interested,
in the users contributions repository at rtai.org you can find an RTAI own upgraded version of rtnet.
It had to be done because both its (old) latest release and latest git did not even compile with the latest RTAI and 3-4 kernel it uses. At the moment to use it you have to adopt the unofficial rtai-5.0.1. release, found in the very same place (if you have one already download it anwew).
Be warned that no backward compatibility will be supported, ever. Too much work for me. it will be just for that RTAI 5.0.1 onward.
It has passed at least the basic set of test examples you'll find in the related, general and rtai, directories. Along with it comes also an indirect check that RTAI rtdm support might not be so bad.

I had no feedback related to the mentioned unofficial rtai-5.0.1. So I'll assume my checks are enough and will go on in making it 5.1 ASAP.

Paolo
