Fwd: a question on RTAI installation

Hi,

I'm far away from RTAI now and you would get a much better response from
the mailing list (this email is already forwarded).

I really don't know what could be wrong here, but as a first step, I would
remove the nvidia card and see if that fixes your problem (and don't put it
back even if it doesn't change anything now).

This is Mohsen, a PhD candidate of mechanical engineering, who wants to
work with RTAI-Linux and RTAI-lab / MATLAB / SIMULINK for implementing a
digital control application (with sample rates equal to or above 20KHz).
I am new to the world of Linux. During the past two month, I have read most
of the guides on installing RTAI Linux (I have also visited your valuable
RTAI repository on github), and I have written my own custom script for
RTAI installation in a step by step manner (which may help beginners like
me to compile and install RTAI Linux).
However, I have encountered a wired login loop problem (and other problems
as well) which prevents me to move further. I have posted a question on the
Ask Ubuntu website. I wonder if you are interested to take a look at the
question and give me some fruitful remarks as a mentor! Here is the link:
