I will be posting a tarball to FSM Labs ftp site of the 2.4.19 kernel with a couple hundred patches preinstalled which bring the security pretty much uptodate. Besider that, what is the "state of the art" in RTLinux-Free? Where does one get the latest patches etc. Many of the links at http://rtlinux.lzu.edu.cn are broken and appear to be about 3 years out of date.
