SOS ! Help needed in accessing network device driver from RT-task.

Hi,
 
I  desperately need help in accessing network device driver from my RT taks.
i.e. Can someone guide me in how to actually send and recieve packets from a RT Task. and if possible give provide some sample code.
 
I am very new to Linux and RTLinux hence any suggestion would be higly valuable.
