I have three PCs with different OSEs: RTLinux from RH 9.0, W2000, Win XP. They are
all hooked together with a hub and ethernet cables. The Linux machine was a W2000
machine before I converted it, and it did work on my local net. I'd like to get the
RTLinux machine and WinXP machines talking to one another. I have no idea how to set
up RTLinux for this. For all I know, it may be working, but I doubt it. I suspect my
build of the RTLinux kernel is very narrow, and may exclude any networking facilities.

The purpose in networking these two is to 1. exchange text files , and 2. to use NTP
to update the Linux clock daily or several times a day.
