Hi, Wayne! If you want to communicate RTLinux (and not Linux) with other machines then you should take a look at the rtlinux/network directory. You can use rtsocks or lwIP, which is a full TCP/IP stack for RTLinux. I think that the sockets API is standard for Linux, Windows and others. Both, rtsocks and RTL-lwIP provide the sockets API (well, I think rtsocks does, sure lwip does), but rtsocks use the Linux TCP/IP stack to send packets and RTL-lwIP has its own implementation, even its own Ethernet drivers. Both rtsocks and rtl-lwip provide documentation files in their directories. I think that RTSocks doesn't have web page, RTL-lwIP does: http://rtl-lwip.sourceforge.net Best regards. Sergio.
