What about the patch > for newer kernel, say 2.6.x? Will it be available any time in near future? > 2.6.X is not realy in the works yet (atleast not on my side) - need to find a few people that are interested in getting to work on this if we want to continue standalon patches - alternative (currently my plan) is to move to ADEOS based 2.6.X RTLinux, the problem with that at this point is the performance of ADEOS on 2.6.X which does not seem to be that impressive (yet) compared to 2.4.X . Also its a question of needing 2.6.X features - and at present I don't know of any real limitations of 2.4.X especially for embedded systems where the 2.6.X kernel size is not really that attractive. If we can get a few people together to split work - I'll be happy to get moving on a 2.6.8++ patch - let me know! hofrat _______________________________________________ Rtl mailing list [email protected] http://www2.fsmlabs.com/mailman/listinfo/rtl
