This typically apears when you try to read from a ramdisk that is larger than
the ramdisk size configured in the kernel -

> kernel panic: No init found. Try passing init=option
> to kernel.

  consequently the filesystem was never mounted and thus no executable init was
found.

If this is a ramdisk system then reconfigure the kernel with a larger
ramdisk limit
