Re: Help Needed about the installation of RTLinux!

The linux kernel can not be the 2.4.20-8 from Redhat 9.0.
You should have recompiled a new fresh kernel 2.4.24 for instance from 
http://www.kernel.org using the .config from Redhat9.0 and applying the 
2.4.24 RTLinux patch in accordance with the RTLinux specification and 
your specific hardware.
After kernel compiling you should reboot under the new rtlinux kernel 
and obtain with uname -a something like :
root@hypervision:~# uname -a
Linux hypervision 2.4.24-rtl3.2-pre3 #1 dim sep 19 08:32:15 CEST 2004 
i686 GNU/Linux
Then you can compile the rtlinux part and use it
Be sure you use the right rtlinux kernel when running rtlinux : the best 
is to keep the 2.4.24-rtl3.2-pre3 kernel as default booting kernel, 
because, if you compiled the rtlinux kernel with the fat .config from 
Redhat9 there is no major difference in using all the Linux functionalities.
