Thank you for your kindness. 
I saw your version number experience and
I am looking forward to seeing the full proper
installation first of all.

Then I try the add-user command in case I get in same
trouble(possibly not again at patch 2.4.19, I hope)

Yesterday and today I join 
 'GNU remote debugger familialization class' 
held nearby. (which seems strikingly attractive to me)
So I will give it a try tommorow or the day after.
