Alternative for rtl-lwip

Hello to all,

Is there an option for realtime networking for rtlinux besides
rtl-lwip? I tried installing it but failed to get the bigphysarea
patch (one of the requirements for installing the ethernet drivers)
work for my kernel (2.4.22-rtl3.2-pre3). Currently there is no
bigphysarea patch for 2.4.22 (or is there?). I tried the patch for a
kernel version lower than 2.4.22 but it did not work.

Any suggestions for making the bigphysarea work will also be most appreciated.
