Seems like this one also never got an answer... we have good experience with Slackware - mainly because it uses a vanilla kernel by default and conforms well to Linux Filesystem standard. Toolchain is clean for kernel and rtlinux and patches for the 2.4.22 and 2.4.26 (Slackware 9.1 or Slackware 10.0) are available. One nice thing about slackware is that it provides no GUI tool for administration that forces you to use that tool but everything is controlled via shell scripts that simply are turned on or off by chmod. So its easy to cusomize. The kickstart manuals found on opentech.at give a step by stop guide for installing rtlinux on Slackware 9.1/10.0 . hofrat _______________________________________________ Rtl mailing list [email protected] http://www2.fsmlabs.com/mailman/listinfo/rtl
