Hi, Allan.

In fact, there is a bigphysarea patch for the 2.4.2x series, it is the
bigphys-2.4.20 patch.

http://www.polyware.nl/~middelink/patch/bigphysarea-2.4.20.tar.gz

It works with clean kernel.org linux 2.4.22 sources. If may launch (I don't
remember) an error patching a .txt file, but that is not a problem.

In the FAQ section of the Redd drivers' home page
http://redd.sourceforge.net/index.html#FAQ

you can read how to configure BIGPHYSAREA.

Anyways, if you want to test other options instead of rtl-lwip you can try
RTSOCK, which is also part of the RTLinux-GPL distribution.

If you still want to try RTL-lwIP and you still have problems, let me know
them and I'll try to help you :)

Best regards.

Sergio.
