These are what I referred to when I started off and they helped. Hope
u find them useful too -
1. Linux Device Drivers by Alessandro Rubini & Jonathan Corbet (see
http://www.xml.com/ldd/chapter/book/index.html)
2. Advanced Linux Programming by Mark Mitchell, Jeffrey Oldham and
Alex Samuel (see http://www.advancedlinuxprogramming.com/)
3. The Linux Kernel Module Programming Guide (see www.tldp.org) and
some of the HOWTOs there.
4. The sample programs with the RTL distribution !
5. For general programming guidelines ... Linus' CodingStyle in the
kernel documentation !!
