about rtlinux-3.2-rc1 install

Dear all,
    I am a newbie to RTlinux. Several days ago,I
download rtlinux-3.2-rc1 and use
kernel_patch-2.4.21-rtl3.2-rc1 to patch
    kernel-2.4.21,then build the kernel and the
rtlinux.when I make regression, all pass,but warn ing
me that "RTLinux 8254 periodic settimer set too
hight!" After a while,It hang your machine, so that I
can do nothing except reboot.how to fix it?

The same as when I use kernel-2.4.29.please help me!
