Hi ! The TLSF (Two level segregated Fit algorithm) package from the OCERA group, written by Miguel Masmano, Ismael Rippol, Alfons Crespo and Jorge Real, is now integrated into the rtlinux-3.2-rc1 tree on rtlinux-gpl.org. It works on my systems - if there are any problems pleas mail to the list and cc to me (I still have some mailing list problems). Note that you need to patch the kernel with bigphysarea support and add an appropriate append line to the kernel boot commandline (i.e. append="bigphysarea=4096" for TLSFs default 4M storage pool). A integrated kernel patch for 2.4.29 is available in the patches directory (patches/kernel_patch-2.4.29-rtl3.2-rc1-bigphys. Also note that if you don't have the bigphys area option set in your kernel config you don't get the menu entry for TLSF in the drivers section. Docs on TLSF can be found in doc/tlsf - a trivial example in example/tlsf thanks to the OCERA team for this extension ! hofrat _______________________________________________ Rtl mailing list [email protected] http://hq.fsmlabs.com/mailman/listinfo/rtl
